Terms of use
Prikka.fi is an online service of the Turku Museum Centre. On the website, you can respond to the museum's surveys on Southwest Finland, i.e. write down your memories and experiences of modern times and recent history and read others' memories.
You can only add material to the Prikka.fi service by logging in. Log in to the service by using Suomi.fi e-Identification or a Vaski library card. The website does not recognise different identification methods for the same user. This is why it is important to use the same identification method each time (Suomi.fi or Vaski library card). When logging in, check that your information is correct. You can use a nickname on the website, but the museum also needs your real name and email address. A person writing the memory must be aged 18 or over.
By uploading a photo and a memory you have written to the service, you grant the Turku Museum Centre access to them. The material is stored in Turku Museum Centre's archives. Memories and photos will automatically appear on the site if you do not set the memories to private. A memory that is marked private is also available to the museum. Turku Museum Centre may use the material in all museum activities, such as exhibitions and publications. The purpose of storing the data is to preserve cultural heritage and related information in the museum's collections. The museum is not responsible for how third parties use the material. You can no longer respond to the survey or edit your memories after the survey closes, but the memories are still available on the site. If you want to edit your access settings after the survey has closed, contact the museum.
Remember to not mention people by their full name or in a manner so that they can be otherwise recognised. Memories cannot include unnecessary or sensitive personal data, such as matters related to the health, religion, ethnicity or sexual/gender orientation of another person that can be identified.
Only share your own memories and only upload photos you have taken or photos you own. You are responsible for the content of the material you have produced and uploaded. Remember to ask for permission from concerned parties if the photos show people that can be identified.RIVIVAIHTOThe photographer must always be mentioned in the photos you add if known.
